Now that the signs are cleaned up and packed away, we can officially look back on what was an amazing 2025 Fall Parade of Homes! Over two beautiful weekends, we saw strong crowds, great weather, and an incredible showcase of nearly 50 homes from 35 builders. Each year, this event grows and evolves, and this fall was no exception.
One of the most enjoyable parts of the Parade is seeing the support from our members come to life across the community. It’s always fun to drive around and watch the signs of our members pop up in the yards of the builders. Those signs aren’t just advertising, they’re bragging rights! They show the pride, teamwork, and dedication that make the Sioux Empire Parade of Homes such a special tradition.
And what a turnout it was. Families and home enthusiasts came out in full force, with tons of traffic across Sioux Falls, Brandon, Harrisburg, Tea, and Rock Rapids, IA. From first-time homebuyers to those dreaming big about their forever homes, Parade-goers had the chance to explore every style and price point. They met local builders, picked up ideas, and saw firsthand the latest trends shaping the home building industry. After 64 years, the Parade continues to prove why it is the best showcase of craftsmanship and creativity in our region.
This year’s Feature Homes truly stood out. Thank you to Forever-Co. and BH Construction for opening their incredible homes to the public. These homes highlighted luxury design and unique spaces like golf simulators, wine bars, private beaches, and entertainer basements. Even more importantly, the Feature Homes raised significant dollars to support scholarships for students pursuing careers in the trades, an investment that ensures the next generation of builders is ready to carry our industry forward.
Of course, an event like this doesn’t happen without the help of many hands. A huge thank you goes out to our sponsors, builders, suppliers, members, volunteers and staff. Your support makes the Parade possible, and we’re proud to recognize our sponsors. Your investment not only keeps this tradition alive but also helps us celebrate the hard work and creativity of our local industry. As committee chair, I couldn’t be more proud of the teamwork and collaboration that went into making this year’s Parade such a success. It truly showcased what our industry does best, building homes, building community, and building pride in the Sioux Empire.
We’re already excited to see what the 2026 Parade of Homes will bring. Until then, thank you to everyone who toured, participated, and supported this long-standing tradition. With your continued energy and involvement, the Parade will only keep getting bigger and better.
