At the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire, we believe membership should provide solutions to the challenges our members face. That’s why we’re excited to introduce another valuable member benefit, the HBASE Career Connection Program.
This new workforce initiative is designed to connect people interested in careers in the building industry directly with our builder members and many of our associate members who are actively hiring. While it isn’t intended to replace traditional hiring platforms like Indeed or other job boards, it provides another avenue for businesses to connect with individuals who are specifically interested in careers in residential construction.
The process is simple. Job seekers visit the HBASE website, select the trade or career field they’re interested in, complete a short application, and upload a resume if they have one. Once submitted, their information is automatically delivered to HBASE member companies that have been identified within that trade category.
Whether you’re looking for your next carpenter, electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, designer, landscaper, engineer, or another skilled professional, the Career Connection Program helps connect your business with individuals who want to build a career in our industry.
This benefit is available exclusively to HBASE builder members and associate members whose businesses fit one or more of the Career Connection categories. We know there isn’t a single solution to the labor shortage, but every connection made between a job seeker and an HBASE member company is another opportunity to strengthen our industry.
The Career Connection Program is also about something bigger than filling today’s open positions. It’s about introducing people to rewarding careers in the trades and creating opportunities for the next generation of skilled professionals who will build the homes, neighborhoods, and communities of tomorrow.
