What began as a vision to create a new way to support the Home Builders Care Foundation has already become something truly special.
The inaugural Building Dreams event exceeded expectations, bringing together members, industry partners, community leaders, and the public for an unforgettable day celebrating craftsmanship, innovation, and giving back. Most importantly, the event raised $30,000 to support the mission of the Home Builders Care Foundation.
Those dollars will have a lasting impact.
Every dollar raised through Building Dreams will be reinvested into scholarships, workforce development initiatives, educational partnerships, community programs, and charitable outreach efforts throughout the Sioux Empire. These investments help develop the next generation of skilled trades professionals, provide educational opportunities for students, support families, and strengthen the communities where we live and work.
Guests had the opportunity to experience The Bentley, an extraordinary custom home built by Atlas Companies within Mapleton Estates at Mapleton Highlands. The home showcased exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and the incredible collaboration of builders, trade partners, suppliers, and designers who continue to raise the standard of excellence across our region.
Visitors also experienced Mapleton Highlands, one of the Sioux Empire’s premier new residential developments. Developed by Van Buskirk Companies, Mapleton Highlands blends the natural beauty of the Dakota prairie with the convenience of Sioux Falls living. Anchored by the new Mapleton Golf Club, the community offers thoughtfully designed neighborhoods, spectacular views, and a vision for creating a one-of-a-kind lifestyle destination. It served as the perfect setting for launching Building Dreams and highlighted the exciting growth taking place throughout our region.
