Builder and Associate Memberships: $600/year

Who can be a member of the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire?
Builders
Builders are the core of our association. These contractors are directly involved in building, remodeling, or land development. They include small-volume builders, production builders, single family and multi-family home builders, light commercial builders, remodelers, and land developers. Builder members must provide a copy of either their Sioux Falls contractor’s license or a South Dakota excise tax certificate as a required part of membership.
Associate Members
Associate members are subcontractors, service providers, and suppliers, typically with specialized expertise like painting, drywall, electrical, landscaping, and more. Associate members can also provide products or services that support builders’ business needs, such as office supplies, automotive needs, promotional items, employee wellness, and bookkeeping services.
Affiliates (Builder or Associate level required)
Affiliates are the backbone of the association. Each associate and builder membership includes one primary member who receives publications and can be involved in events and committees. They’re also listed in the membership directory.
Additional employees must be signed up as Affiliate Members to receive benefits and participate in events and committees. For only $50/year, they’ll be added to the directory, receive a digital copy of the member newsletter and have access to member discounts.
To be included in the 2027 printed membership directory, new Affiliates must be signed up and paid for by Oct. 24, 2026.
