Home Builders Care Foundation Presents $1,500 to Tea Area School District

On Friday, August 25, Paul Nelsen, Chair of the Sioux Empire Home Builders Care Foundation, presented Tom Nelson, Industrial Arts teacher with the Tea Area School District, with a $1,500 check on behalf of the Care Foundation. The donation will be used to purchase various tools and equipment for use by the students in the building trades program.

As the charitable arm of the Home Builders Association of the Sioux Empire, the Sioux Empire Home Builders Care Foundation supports the community through scholarships, grants and other community service projects.  Since its creation in 2007, the Care Foundation has invested more than $365,000 into these community service projects and educational/workforce development programs.
