Sioux Empire Home Builders Care Foundation
The Sioux Empire Home Builders Care Foundation was established in 2007 as a 501 (c) 3 charitable, non-profit organization. The Care Foundation's activities include funding housing related community service projects, providing scholarships for students going into the building trades and financially supporting other industry related educational programs such as the Workforce Development Grant program. See a list of programs below which make use of the funds.
The Foundation is funded by direct donations in addition to various public fundraisers such any Feature Homes on the Parade of Homes™.
A number of scholarships are awarded annually to graduating high school seniors through the support of the Care Foundation. Scholarships are awarded to high school graduates who reside in Lincoln, Minnehaha, McCook or Turner counties and have applied for acceptance into a secondary school curriculum within the home building industry or related fields.

Feature Homes on Parade of Homes
During the Parade of Homes (Spring & Fall), Feature Home admission is $5/person with proceeds benefiting the Sioux Empire Home Builders Care Foundation.
Axe Throwing Tournament
Save the Date! On July 31, 2019 members are invited to compete in our first annual axe throwing tournament! For details, stay tuned to your printed edition of HBA News. Proceeds from this event will go directly towards the Sioux Empire Home Builders Care Foundation.
